2016 年 JNA 賞の最高栄誉を安井章瑞氏が受賞
Hong Kong, 7 September, 2016 – The 2016 JNA Awards is presenting its most prestigious
honour – the Lifetime Achievement Award – to casting solutions specialist Shouzui Yasui,
Chief Executive Officer of Tokyo-based Yasui & Co. Yasui, recognised for his dedication and
significant contributions to the jewellery and gemstone industry, will be receiving the
accolade at the JNA Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner scheduled for 14 September
(Wednesday) at the InterContinental Hong Kong during the September Hong Kong Jewellery
& Gem Fair.
2016 年 9 月 7 日香港 - 2016 年の JNA 賞は、同賞の最高位にあたる Life Time
Achievement Award を、鋳造ソリューションのスペシャリストで、株式会社安井イン
ターテックの CEO 安井章瑞氏に授与する。安井氏のジュエリー、宝石業界への献身
と貢献に対する表彰は「香港ジュエリー＆ジェムフェアー」開催中の 9 月 14 日（水
曜日）、香港インターコンチネンタルで、JNA 賞授賞式・ガラディナーにて行われ
る。

The JNA Awards is regarded as one of the jewellery and gemstone industry’s most prized
honours, recognising enterprises and individuals that have demonstrated excellence,
leadership and innovation, with a special focus on Asia, and whose ideas and actions have
made a positive impact on their businesses and communities.
JNA 賞は、ジュエリー、宝石業界における最高の栄誉の一つとされ、特にアジア地
域において、エクセレンス、リーダーシップ、イノベーションを発揮し、そのアイ
デアや活動を通じ、ビジネスやコミュニティにプラスとなる影響を与えた企業や個
人に贈られる。

Asia, and Chair of the JNA Awards Judging Panel, said, “Mr. Shouzui Yasui well deserves the
JNA Lifetime Achievement Award honour. There are two known ‘blue boxes’ in the jewellery
industry. One is represented by a high-end consumer brand that has come to symbolise gifts
of special significance. The other represents a jewellery casting company that the trade
associates with high-quality and cost-effective manufacturing solutions. The latter is Yasui’s ‘
blue box’. Wherever there is jewellery manufacturing in the world, one can find Yasui’s
Vacuum Wax Injector. His contribution is noticed and felt widely throughout the industry.”
JNA 創設者である UBM Asia ジュエリー・グループの事業開発ディレクター、さらに
JNA 賞審査パネルのチェアを務めるレティシア・チャウ氏は、「安井章瑞氏は JNA
Lifetime Achievement Award を受けるに相応しい。ジュエリー業界には、二つ有名な
“ブルー・ボックス”がある。一方は今や特別なギフトの象徴となっている高級ブ
ランドを示し、もう一方は、高品質で対費用効果の高い製造ソリューションと結び
付けられるジュエリー鋳造機器の企業を表している。後者が安井氏の“ブルー・ボ
ックス”である。世界でジュエリー製造を行うところには、必ず安井氏の真空ワッ
クスインジェクターがある。彼の貢献は業界全体が認めている。」とコメントした。
Yasui is a name that has long been associated with casting solutions for the jewellery
industry. It started developing its Vacuum Wax Injector in 1980, which was marketed
globally starting from 1983. In 1991, the company commenced exports of its casting
machines. Three years later, Yasui launched its electric Rotating Burnout Furnace. In 2002,
the casting expert released its Digital Vacuum Wax Injection System. Ten years later, Yasui
rolled out its third-generation wax machine, ALTIMA.
安井氏の名は、ジュエリー業界において、古くから鋳造ソリューションと関連づけ
られてきた。1980 年に真空ワックスインジェクターの開発を開始、1983 年にはグロ
ーバル市場にも展開。1991 年には、鋳造機の輸出を開始した。3 年後、安井氏は、
回転式電気炉を発表。2002 年には真空機能付デジタルワックスインジェクターの販
売を開始した。10 年後、安井氏は第三世代のワックスインジェクターである ALTIMA
展開を果たした。
“Yasui’s casting solutions, starting from the wax injector, were seen as pivotal in the mass
production of jewellery, which consequently made jewellery accessible and affordable to
many. This spurred on demand, triggering a ripple effect across precious materials suppliers,
gemstone and jewellery manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers. These innovations
changed the way jewellery was marketed and sold,” said Albert Cheng, a member of the JNA
Awards judging panel and an advisor to the World Gold Council.
「ワックスインジェクターから始まる YASUI の鋳造ソリューションは、ジュエリー
の大量生産の中心的存在であり、多くの人々にとってジュエリーがより身近で購入
しやすいものとなるきっかけを作った。需要に拍車をかけ、貴金属サプライヤー、
宝石やジュエリー製造者、卸業者、小売業者にも影響を及ぼした。安井氏のイノベ
ーションは、ジュエリーのマーケティングや販売方法に変化を与えた」JNA 賞審査
パネルメンバーであり、ワールド・ゴールド・カウンシルのアドバイザー、アルバ
ート・チェン氏は言う。
Shouzui Yasui said he couldn’t have been more surprised and delighted to be the recipient
of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
安井章瑞氏は、今年の Lifetime Achievement Award 受賞が決まり、非常に驚くととも
に嬉しく思う、と語った。
“For 44 years, I have dedicated my life to the development of casting solutions for the
jewellery sector. I am thrilled and deeply thankful for this significant recognition. This
accolade represents what decades of hard work and determination can accomplish. It is a
great honour to be the recipient of JNA’s Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Shouzui Yasui.

来た。このように重みのある賞を受け、深く感謝し、感動している。今回の栄誉は、
数十年に渡るハードワークと決断が何かを成せることを示している。JNA の

The fifth edition of the JNA Awards is led by Chow Tai Fook, Gemfields and Rio Tinto
Diamonds as Headline Partners, with Diarough Group, the Israel Diamond Institute Group of
