NOTE The new OOZY Trail Pedals with production code 14091L
and higher use an updated improved ALXE and bright green
FRICTION SEALS system. OOZY Pedals are not compatible with
old axles or black friction seals fron Spank.
Use 8mm Allen Tool inserted from the rear side of the right
crankarm to snug pedal. Using the opposite crankarm as second
lever, tighten pedal.

Repeat process for left pedal, but threading pedal into left crank by
hand in a counter-clockwise direction.
*LEFT PEDAL (threads sloping upward to the left) goes to left crank.

Standard recommended torque for pedal thread is about 310lb-in, or
roughly 35Nm.
If pedal is difficult to thread into arm, or if the threads in the crank are
damaged, contact an authorized SPANK Industries Dealer or
Distributor for assistance, or consult a trained mechanic. Never force
your pedal into a damaged thread.

Apply a steel pedal/crank washer over each axle, between
pedal and crank, before assembly.
MAINTENANCE
If issues with bearings or IGUS bushings should arise, it is
recommended that only a trained, qualified technician services
pedals. NOTE: BLIND EYE BEARING PUSH-PULLER required to
service the Full Compliment Sealed Bearing.
IMPORTANT: Always remove your pedals from crank arms before
disassembly or service. Never remove or tighten the axle nut while
pedals are mounted to cranks.
Using your fingers, gently thread the right side pedal into the
right crank in a clockwise direction.

the specified torque after your first ride.
Bolt torque specifications should be checked a minimum of 2
times per month. During this time, also inspect all parts for
damage, visible cracks, or chips. All components should be
inspected thoroughly after any crash or accident. If any
damage, cracks, chips, stress marks, or discoloration is visible,
these products must be replaced immediately and not used
further. Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
