企画①ベツレヘム・野外フェスティバル＆エルサレム・ツアー2016
期間：2016年8月4日（木）～8月9日（火）
イエス・キリストが生まれたキリスト生誕教会がある、パレスチナ随一の観光地ベツレヘム。その生誕
教会の近くにて毎夏、音楽と文化の野外フェスティバル「べトラヘム・ライブ・フェスティバル」が開
催されています。2016年は8月4日（木）から7日（日）までの4日間、盛大に開催されますが、この年は
特別に日本の文化を紹介するコーナーを儲け、8月6日の広島原爆投下記念日を中心に日本人アーティス
トによる演奏やパフォーマンスを盛り込むという企画が進められています。
企画①の参加者には8月4日の夜から8日の朝まで、ベツレヘムにてホームステイをし、この野外フェス
ティバルに4日間参加していただきます。その後、8月8日の予定に関しては聖地エルサレムの訪問、或
いはパレスチナ難民キャンプを訪問するか、その他の企画も含めて調整中です。この5泊6日のツアーは、
日本人が中東における平和への願いと共に中東の人たちとの交流を深め、楽しく有意義な時間を過ごせ
る画期的なものです。
◯野外フェスティバルに日本を代表する親善大使として参加、日本文化を紹介する（日本の芸能や料理
から、折り紙を教えるなど、ご自身にできることなら何でも結構です）
◯近郊で行う現地の人との交流やスタディ・ツアー
◯生誕教会など、ベツレヘム観光やエルサレム観光
費用：15万～25万円程度
*ホームステイではなく、ホテル滞在希望者は費用が上がります。また利用する飛行機の航空会社の選
択でも料金は変わってきます。
企画②アースキャラバン・イスラエル・パレスチナ平和活動ツアー
期間：2016年8月1日（月）～8月10日（水）。但し、自己責任の行動で、その前から（あるいは後から）
の渡航も可。企画①の日程も含みます。アースキャラバン実行委員のメンバーとしてイベントに携わり
ます。
◯イスラエルのテルアビブ開催のフェスティバルに参加
◯広島原爆の火を携えてパレスチナの村々を巡礼
◯パレスチナ難民キャンプで子供たちと交流
◯平和を願う人々と共に行う平和行進、その他、中東スタディツアーなど。
※費用：25万～30万円程度
Peace Journey to Bethlehem

Plan 1 : Outdoor Festival Bethlehem/Jerusalem Tour 2016
From Aug.4th, 2016 (Thu) to Aug.9th, 2016 (Tue)
We invite you to Bethlehem, the traditional place of Jesus Christ’s birth. Just a 5 minute walk from the
Church of the Nativity, Bet Lahem Live Festival 2016 will be held for 4 days from Aug.4th to the 7th. The
organizer Holy Land Trust and Earth Caravan will be coordinating the Japan Booth presenting the
Japanese Culture. And on Aug.6th, the day the A-bomb was dropped in Hiroshima, the member of Earth
Caravan and other Japanese participants will be invited to the main stage to commemorate the event in
Hiroshima.
There will be Japanese artists and performers, but you can take a part as well. We are inviting the
peace ambassadors from Japan. You can also stay at homes of Palestinians at night. Sightseeing to
the holy sites and other places will be accommodated as well.
For the plan on Monday, Aug.8th, we are still trying to organize the plan. .
Tour to Bethlehem and Jerusalem, 6 days 5 nights tour will be your contribution to the area and chance
to know the people there and introduce our culture.
-Participation as a Peace Ambassador: Introducing our culture such as Japanese tradition, Japanese
food, from Ninja, Samurai to Origami session, there will be plenty of fun.
-During the day, the participants will be guided to the sites nearby such as the Church of the Nativity.
Cost : 150,000 – 250,000 JPY more or less. The cost will depend on your choice of stay (with local
family or hotel) and also by the airline of your choice.
Plan 2 : Earth Caravan Israel/Palestine Peace Activity Tour 2016
From Aug, 1st 2016 (Mon) to Aug.10th , 2016 (Wed). Or you can arrive/leave earlier/later.
You will be participating the tour as a member of the Earth Caravan including the peace activities in
Israel and the plan 1. The participants will need to dedicate more to the Earth Caravan projects which
include the Outdoor Festival in Tel Aviv (Israel), visits to the villages and refugee camps with the flame
from Hiroshima, peace march and human chain and the Bet Lahem Live Festival.
Cost : 250,000 – 300,000 JPY more or less.
