I hope the below testimonial of one of our students who graduated this past May 2016 and was accepted to Nagoya University. The student or now ICAN Alumni is Kyoka Saito. She was the valedictorian of her class. When Kyoka came to ICAN she entered the 3rd grade and didn’t speak hardly any English at all. She actually joked about this during her valedictorian speech at this past school year’s graduation. Through her hard work and the hard work of ICAN teachers over the years she was able to get accepted to Nagoya University with a full scholarship. Nagoya University is pleased to inform you that in recognition of your outstanding academic performance you have been awarded the Global 30 International Programs Scholarships for academic year 2016. The total amount of the stipend is JPY 500,000 per year. In addition, you will also receive a 100% tuition waiver (JPY535,800). After you enroll at Nagoya University, the registration fee (JPY282,000) will be reimbursed in monthly installments throughout the first year. I hope this encourages you about ICAN and continuing to keep your student in our school until they graduate. Now that our high school is getting more established our students are getting accepted into good universities abroad and in Japan as well.
