Nous sommes vignerons de père en fils depuis 3 générations. Domaine Priou is located on the hillsides of the Cher 60 km east of Tours, in the Touraine appellation, and works 20 hectares of vineyards. We have been winegrowers from father to son for 3 generations. La diversité de nos sols explique la présence de plusieurs cépages blancs et rouges. Les sables à silex sur argile expriment aux blancs et rosés toute leur finesse. Les argilo-calcaires ou argile à silex donnent aux rouges toute l’expression du fruit et du terroir. The diversity of our soils explains the various red and white grape varieties we grow. Flinty sand over clay brings out all the finesse of our whites and rosés, while clay-limestone and flinty clay bring out the full fruitiness of our reds in perfect expression of the terroir. Nos vins sont toujours produits et élevés par des méthodes anciennes, les plus naturelles. Nos sols sont cultivés sans désherbant chimique avec des fertilisations et traitements très résonnés pour une qualité optimale. Our wines are always produced and matured using the most natural traditional methods. Our vineyards are cultivated without use of chemical weedkillers, and using integrated fertilisation and treatments to ensure optimal quality.
