コメント
香りは木材とスパイス（シナモンボールキャンディ、ハッカキャンディ、砂糖がけフェンネルシード、新しい杉の
サウナ）のうっとりするような喜び、そして微笑を誘う甘み（クランチー・バー、トフィー、蜜蝋、バニラアイス
クリームのコーン）の瞬間を伴った。
ストレートの味はやや意外 - 口角が引っ張られるようなリコリスとコショウの辛さと食欲をそそる香りローストビーフの焦げた端っこ、パリパリ皮添え豚バラ肉の五香粉ローストしかし、バターたっぷりのトフィーと洋梨もあった。
加水した香りはコーヒー豆、ペストリー、そしてシャベルの上の熱い燃えさし、味はリコリス・オールソート、ト
ルココーヒー、ターキッシュデライト、白檀の線香を包含し、暗く、謎めいて魅惑的になった。
この蒸溜所は2001年に閉鎖された。
Comment
The nose was an intoxicating delight of wood and spice (cinnamon balls, humbugs, sugar-coated fennel seeds, new
cedar sauna) with moments of smile-inducing sweetness (Crunchie bars, toffee, honeycomb, vanilla ice-cream
cones).
The neat palate was slightly unexpected ‒ mouth-drawing liquorice and pepper heat and savoury notes ‒ burnt
edge of roast beef, roast pork belly in five-spice with crackling ‒ but also buttery toffee and pear.
With water, the nose discovered coffee beans, pastry and hot embers on a shovel, while the palate, encompassing
Liquorice Allsorts, Turkish coffee, Turkish Delight and sandalwood joss sticks, became dark, mysterious and
seductive.
The distillery closed in 2001.
