Mission of The First Tee of Japan is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The First Tee has established Nine Core Values that represent some of the many inherently positive values connected with the game of golf. These Nine Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Confidence, Respect. Courtesy, Judgment ,and Perseverance. Through the program, children learn these positive values through golf and transfer them to everyday life.
