Janet: Hi, Masao. I’m sorry to be late. Did you wait for a
long time?
Masao: No problem, Janet. Are you all right?

Masao: What happened?
Janet: I arrived at the station near my house at eight o’clock.
I bought a ticket and walked to Track 4 to take the
8:15 train for Chuo Station. It stops at only two
stations before it gets to Chuo Station.
Masao: Track 4? That was wrong.
Janet: Yes, it was wrong. The train for Chuo Station comes
on Track 1. I was shocked to know I made a mistake.
I ran up and down the stairs to Track 1, but the 8:15
train already left.
Masao: That’s too bad.
Janet: I waited for the next train and took it. It was the 8:50
train and it stopped at all seven stations before it
arrived at Chuo Station. It took much time. I’m very
sorry to be late.
Masao: I see. It’s OK.
Janet: Thank you, Masao.
Masao: Now, let’s walk to the movie theater. Today we can see
a science fiction movie or a love story at the theater.
Which do you like better?

I ll take it.（それをいただきます。）である。御礼を言われ

してしまった人がいるかもしれないが、A さんが、Thank

す。あなたは親切ですね。）と言ったのであれば対話は成り

最後の台詞に対する応答を選ぶ問題は、とても
よく出題されている。会話の状況がすぐにつか
