The commercial aviation fleet is expected to grow from almost 31,720 aircraft in 2016 to 42,665 aircraft in 2025. Led by
Boeing and Airbus, the top 10 original equipment manufacturers will increase their concentration from 94% to 96% of the market
during the decade. Boeing maintains its top slot throughout the period, moving from 38% to 40%. Airbus expands its share by an
even greater margin, increasing from 28% in 2016 to 36% of the market in 2025.
