Open Show to any interested person. All calves must be born on or after January 1,

Forty-five ($45.00) dollars per head.
IN ADDITION:
Any calves purchased through the 2017 National Western Stock Show Pen of Prospect
Calf Sale will be eligible to be entered with complete documentation. Officially designated and identified private treaty prospect calves from Pen of Prospect exhibitors will
be eligible to be entered with complete purchase documentation from the NWSS
Stockyard sale office.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
This Open Prospect Show is governed by all National Western Stock Show rules and
regulations. Please refer to these rules and regulations in the front portion of this premium
list. There is no sale with this show.
CLASSES:
Calves to be shown by weight. A weight card obtained in your packet or from the superintendents office, must be filled out by all exhibitors and turned in at processing with a
called/declared weight. This will become the official weight. All prospect steers will be
divided into classes according to this weight.

There are 2 divisions in the open prospect heifer show; a feeder division and a breeding division. Exhibitor must declare at time of entry. A heifer can't be shown in both divisions.
