THE FOREST.
A brand new devised show with Mike Friend.
Those who saw 'Oliver Twist' or 'Sparrow' at ERT will know that Mike's work is extremely visual and a
little out of the ordinary!
To work with him is exciting, demanding but incredibly rewarding.
This summer we are thrilled that Mike is returning to ERT for our summer of engagement and
celebration of young talent. He will be working with a group aged 16-25 for two weeks devising a show
called 'The Forest'.
There will be professionals on hand to mentor and support you in all aspects of the theatre.
There is no charge for the project and the work with Mike will culminate in three performances of the
show at ERT in front of the public.
As a starting point Mike has asked for a goldfish bowl (including Goldfish), some hula-hoops and a
forest!
So...if you have an interest in performance, design, lighting, stage-management or simply want to
develop your confidence and want to be part of the creation of a brand new theatre show, let us know.
