What is Safe Now?
SafeNow is a mobile app that helps anyone, quickly notify their "Alert Contact" in case of a
potential emergency or health issue. SafeNow is a supplement, not a replacement, to your
current safety processes.
SafeNow can be used by individuals who are:






living alone,
elderly,
professionals who work alone,
professionals, like realtors, who work with individuals they don’t know,
college students who walk alone to and from class,
and athletes or sports enthusiasts.
TO SET UP:
 Download SafeNow from the Apple Store or Google Play
 Register your Login with a Password and ID. To Register, click on "Register" button and
follow the steps.
 After you have an account, login.
 Complete the Profile (Pen/Paper icon). MAKE SURE TO TOUCH SAVE at Top Right of
Screen. You MUST complete the Name, Country, Phone Number, and Email. These. are
REQUIRED Fields for the App to work.
 Complete Alert Contact Details. Touch ADD at Top Right and complete the
Information. First, La.st Names, Mobile Phone, Email and Response Time are REQUIRED
Fields for the App to work. (Response Time is the time you give your Alert Contact to
respond until the app goes to your second contact) MAKE SURE TO TOUCH SAVE.
 Continue to complete each category according to information you want to share with
your Alert Contact.
 ALWAYS TOUCH DONE AND SAVE. This will store all information for the app to work.
 SafeNow will ask you to set your phone notification setting. Alert notifications will
stay on your screen until you address it. Banner notification show only for seconds with
a sound so you have to check notifications to acknowledge the PING notification.
TO USE: Go to the Profile Screen. This is the Pen/Paper Icon on Main Screen
 Set the Interval Time. Make sure you select AM or PM. Touch DONE.
 Set the Interval day. Touch DONE.
 Set the Type - this is the kind of message you want sent. Touch DONE.
 Touch the Notification switch to a GREEN Position to turn on the Notification. Touch
SAVE MAKE SURE TO SAVE this information. Touch Save on Top Right of Screen
For Every Screen or Modification, Touch Save or Done at the Top Right of Screen
HOW DOES IT WORK?
 The app is set for specific times to send a PING notice to the user.
 The user gets pinged at the scheduled time.
 The user must respond to the PING notifications they are happy, healthy and OK. Once
the user acknowledges the PING, the app resets for the next PING interval.
 If the user does not respond to the PING. The app will PING every 5 minutes for 1 Hour.
 After 1 hour, the app will notify their "Alert Contact" (via SMS Message and Email) with
all details of that user, includes emergency contact, hospitals, doctors, pet details, and
Detail Instructions the user has loaded into SafeNow.
When the need arises, the "Alert Contact" - the critical point of help for that person - will be
quickly notified via sms and email, Alerted person will also get latest GPS location of patient.
What is Subscribe?
When you install the app you can use it free for 1 month. The app will remind you when you
are about to expire from your free or paid time. You will also notice an Expiration Date at the
bottom of the profile screen. This is the date you must subscribe to continue service.
To Subscribe:
 Touch the Green Subscribe tab at the bottom of the Profile Screen.
 The app will automatically direct you to either:
 PAYPAL for Google version of the app
 or Apple Pay for the Apple version of the app.
 You can cancel your subscription at any time.
 If you Un-Subscribe, you still can use the app and its full feature until your time is
expired.
Once payment is made you will see the expiration date change. Subscriptions are billed every
3 months. The charge is less than $10 per month billed every 3 months.
