4. Software install and use introduction
4.1 Install Pi.Play
Go to the official web to download Pi.Pilay and install course
Official link: http://en.pimaxvr.com/
Finished install and run it , there is a “
”icon of pi play as image 1, double click it , you
can open the main interface as image 2.

4.2 connect with PC
pimax 4k HMD with high clear input function.(image3-4)
In order to get better experience ,we suggest connect with independent graphics
OS：Windows 7 SP1（64bit）
CPU：Intel i5 or better CPU
Memory：4GB+RAM
Graphic： NVIDIA GTX960/AMD R9 290 or better
Port：compatible with HDMI 1.4B video input，USB2.0/3.0 port
NOTE: If your PC have more than one HDMI port , you should connect with independent
graphics one , if your VR connect the integration graphic , you should stop it in BIOS setting.
Check connected normal or no.
Pi Play interface will switch to connection state（image 5），that means the device have
normally connected，otherwise it's not connected as normal。

4.3VR screen while run piplay
The screen will be black while connected with red or green light on the top of Pimax 4K .
After enter the games , light switch to blue, after quit games ,light switch to green ,all quit light
switch to red.
5. Games download and use introduce
Pimax 4K VR support steam games , you can play it after install steam and steamvr tool
5.1 Steam and steamvr download and install.

SteamVR install path：LIBRARY→TOOLS→SteamVR（image 7）

5.2 SteamVR room setting：

5.3Run games：
After run steamvr , then go to run the games .
5.4 Quit the game：
"ESC" or "Alt + F4" to quit the game 。
6.The tool to watch movie and use introduce
6.1 Enter SteamVR
6.2 Support to download Simple VR Video Player
6.3Run Simple VR Video Player and open the movie and chose a format。
7.Device close
7.1Close：
Long press“
”on the top of VR while connect , it will power off .
7.2Cut off line：
You should pull out the HDMI and USB cable to cut off the line.
8.Firmware upgrade
8.1 It will check software and firmware itself while connect internet to run piplay , it will appear a
dialog box .
Note: you should no pull out USB or close PC while upgrading .
