Galuxy Medical is excited to introduce a new, highlyadvanced LED Birthing Room Lighting System. The modern
LED Lighting Systems can be ordered new or as a field
retrofit upgrade to existing BRL-18 Ultralux Systems.
The new LED light head (LED-18) has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours or 20 years. It is much
brighter than the BRL-18 and has six intensity levels, six patterns sizes, and three Kelvin temperature settings that provide a unique adjustable light pattern for any birthing requirement.
The new LED-18 is eight pounds lighter than the existing BRL-18 making it easier to position or
maneuver in place. In addition to the existing wall control panel, the light can be controlled
at the light head, giving the user complete control where it is needed most.

Shown below is the new LED-18 Light System retrofitted into an existing 20 year old BRL-18.
The new components are the arm, light head and DC power supply. All other components
of the BRL-18 are retained. The upgrade includes preventive maintenance on all existing
parts and warrantees all parts for one full year.
LED-18 has a life expectancy of 50,000 hours.
The light is cooler and is much more energy
efficient. It provides more lumens and is eight
pounds lighter than its halogen predecessor.
The synchronized, intuitive control panel provides
instantly adjustable intensity, pattern size and
Kelvin temperature.
