PROGRAM MANAGER
Born This Way Foundation is hiring a Program Manager to oversee the organization’s programs, including
Channel Kindness and community activations related to the Joanne World Tour, and support the
foundation’s overall mission, impact and success.
About Born This Way Foundation
Led by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta, Born This Way Foundation was founded in 2012 to
support the wellness of young people and empower them to create a kinder and braver world. To achieve
these goals, Born This Way Foundation leverages rigorous academic research and authentic partnerships in
order to provide young people with improved mental health resources, more positive climates, and kinder
communities – online and offline. Working with more than 50 non-profit organizations, Born This Way
Foundation has connected more than 150,000 young people with services and programing in their
communities. The Foundation is also working to improve understanding of the factors that affect youth
wellness and empowerment, collecting data from more than 10,000 young people as part of its Born Brave
Experience Survey currently in its third phase.
Role + Responsibilities





Manage the daily operations of ChannelKindness.org, including engagement with the participating
young people as well as the editing and posting process for the program’s content
Assist in the planning and launch of the Foundation’s mental wellness program, including both
online and offline components.
Oversee the execution of the Foundation’s activations connected to the Joanne World Tour,
including coordinating with non-profit partners and liaising with the project’s production team.
Manage incoming requests for partnership conversations and implement those that are most
relevant to the mission of Born This Way Foundation.
Perform related operations and administrative tasks to support the Foundation’s mission
Experience + Qualifications







Bachelors degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience preferred
Experience in the nonprofit sector and experience working with young people preferred
Formal writing experience a plus
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong verbal communication skills
Willingness to take initiative and desire to work in a fast paced environment
Comfort working independently and remotely, as well as willingness to travel.
