Molecules and Compounds

By: Brandon Estes and Amelia Herring
A molecule is when two or more atoms
combine chemically
A compound is when two or more different
atoms bind together to form a molecule



Atoms form molecules which in turn form
compounds.
Example: H (atom) + H (atom) H2
(molecule)
Example of a Compound: 4H+C=CH4
(methane)
