ANIMALS AT RISK Session Content The walk will take the pupils to of some of the Safari Park’s more endangered animals that we are helping to conserve. We will discuss the threats to the animals and what is being done to help protect them. ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ Links SOC 1-03a ‘I can consider ways of looking after my school or community and can encourage others to care for the environment.’ SOC 2-08a ‘I can discuss the environmental impact of human activity and suggest ways in which we can live in a more environmentally-responsible way.’ SCN 0-01a ‘I have observed living things in the environment and becoming aware of how they depend on each other.’ SCN 1-02a ‘I can explore examples of food chains and show appreciation of how animals plants depend on each other for food.’ SCN 4-01a ‘I understand how plant species and animal species depend on each other.
