Application: The automation system permits a real time monitor of the flow and pressure of the water
in the network, and remote command of the pumps and valves from the water distribution system from
Piatra Neamt City. The PLCs are both wired and wireless connected to the SCADA system. 25 PLCs are
communicating via the radio link, and the rest of them via RS485 serial communication network. All the
PLCs are connected to the Citect SCADA system via UNI OPC Server.
