Team Saskatchewan Singles Jump Scholarship
In an effort to provide more funding / scholarships to a wider group of athletes we will be providing scholarships for successful jumping skills in approved Skater Development
competitions that are verified by the technical panel. The rules and policies around this project are as follows:
1. The jump must be completed on one (1) foot and verified by the technical panel in order for it to qualify for a scholarship.
2. If the jump has one (1) of the following mistakes as determined by the technical / judges’ panel, the skater will not be eligible for the scholarship.
a. << downgraded
b. < under-rotated
c. A reduction of -3 by the majority of the judging panel
3. The charts below indicate the jump for each competitive category. The X’s mean that the scholarship is not available. In the case of Junior and Senior, these jumps
should already be a part of the skater’s program.
4. The Skater’s report cards, verifying successful jumps must be submitted to the Section Office by the skater / coach within fourteen (14) days of the completion of the
competition. A running report will be kept and scholarships will be sent out throughout the skating season.
5. This program only applies to members of Team Saskatchewan (Junior Development, Development, Competitive and High Performance Team Skaters) and only for the
Skate Canada and / or USFSA sanctioned competitions for the current skating season (April 1st – March 31st)
6. A skater will only receive credit once for each successful jump regardless of competing category.
