Well it is hard to believe that we are half way through the half term.
A huge thank you to everyone for their hard work and support at Christmas.
The PFA have once again done an incredible job fundraising: The Christmas Raffles
raised £361.
School Questionnaires
Just a reminder that ‘Parent View’ can be completed at any time during the course of an academic year:The information that the school gains from the questionnaire is really useful in making further improvements
to how we operate.
Ofsted also ask parents to complete ‘The Parent View’ questionnaire on the internet.
If you have not done so already, please can you take some time this week and complete the Parent View
questionnaire for Longhoughton CE First School, to do this you need to:
 Go to https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/login?destination=give-your-views
 Log in if you have completed the questionnaire before or create a log in
 Search for Longhoughton CE First School
 Complete the questionnaire – 12 questions to answer
Wrap Around Care
Please can parents who use Wrap Around Care in the morning make sure that they are considerate to our
school neighbours. Please do not leave engines running while you take your child round to the Wrap Around
building.
Sainsbury’s School Games
As you will be aware we are taking part in the Sainsbury’s School Games and over the
course of the year the children will compete in competitions linked to their learning in P.E..
Before the Christmas break we held a Y4 football competition in school:
Y4 (France Class) were organised into 3 teams (Red, Blue and Yellow)
Congratulations to Blue bibs who were the overall winners.
Each team gained points to go towards their ‘castle’ and we will be announcing the overall Sainsbury’s
School games winning castle at the end of the year.
