AWBS: Fall Semester 2017 Art Lectures: The Grand Tour As expats and travellers, we are women that desire to discover and experience foreign cultures through travel and welcome the exciting challenges of living abroad. Did you know that in the 1700-1800s, English aristocrats took a “Grand Tour” to complete their education? They travelled to the cultural centers of Europe to study the art and architecture and brought their treasurers home to fill their country estates. Where did they go? What did they see? Let us join them in their travels and share their discoveries! Maybe you will see these same inspirational works of art in your travels abroad!
