Dear Vendor,
On June 17 & 18, 2017, the Modoc Outdoor Recreation & Tourism Inter-agency group will host, the 6th Annual Modoc
Sportsman’s & Outdoor Expo. This is a special fun filled two-day event which will include, displays, vendor booths,
information about the area, and plenty of outdoor youth activities.
Our focus is to market and promote Modoc County and the surrounding regions in this area as premier outdoor
recreation destination areas, to educate the public on the natural, cultural and historical resources available, and to
engage youth in outdoor activities.

Dates and Show hours are as follows:
Saturday - June 17, 2017 • 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday - June 18, 2017 • 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Vendors can set up on Friday, June16th. All booths must be broken down and removed by June 18th, 4:00p.m.
Although the doors at Veteran’s Memorial Hall are locked and secured after each day of the event, vendors are
encouraged to keep a complete inventory of their merchandise and take any valuable merchandise with them after
the closing of each show. Local law enforcement will monitor the area in the evening. The Modoc Outdoor
Recreation & Tourism Group will not be responsible for any losses due to theft.
Event equipment is available in town for rental should it be needed: BMW Rentals, (530) 233-5654. (see attached
rates)
Vendors will be asked to make a prize donation for the Expo raffle (optional).
Note: Space is limited, on the inside of Veteran’s Hall. Vendor placement will be on a “First Come, First Serve” basis.
However, there are plenty of vendor spaces available in the park area. It is our hope that this event will be filled to
capacity allowing more commerce for the vendors, local businesses, and the public. Please join us to make this
special event happen.
