Pilot plants
Design and development of R+D plants
The wide R+D
experience of AERIS
allows us to design
and construct turn-key
pilot plants for many
different research
fields.
All the pilot plants are
designed according to
the client requirements
and are totally
adaptable depending
on the project needs.
AERIS has developed
strategic alliances
with several
production
professionals from
various sectors, which
allows for the
production of totally
operative equipment
at a reduced cost. The
plants include all
connections, sensors
and programming
required for an
automated, robust and
effective running.
Accordingly, the client
gets a pilot plant which
has been co-designed
by himself, with a
continuous
consultancy service
from AERIS and with a
highly adaptable plant
structure.

Fotobioreactor for N and P removal
Two SBR of 1000 L and 25 L
for aerobic treatment.
Air-lift reactor for
ammonium removal
Rental and operation of pilot-plants
AERIS owns some
different pilot plants for
R&D, adaptable for
different
environmental
applications, available
to its costumers.
The rental of these
pilot plants can be
complemented with
consultancy services,
maintenance during
the operation of the
plant and/or sampling,
analysis and
participation of AERIS
Aerobic SBR
Anaerobic digester for
highly-loaded COD
effluents treatment
on the research
project.
Among the pilot plants
that AERIS owns,
there are different
aerobic and anaerobic
Sequencing Batch
Reactors (SBR), with
volumes up to 1 m3,
as well as an air-lift
bioreactor and a
biotrickling filter for
gas treatment.
