Welcome to North Holland! We gather
this day to praise our God for His love
expressed to us in Jesus Christ. May all
we do be honoring and glorifying to
Him!
WHAT’S HAPPENING
REMINDER: Whether you are new to the
church, or a life-time member, please
take the time to fill out and wear a name
tag each Sunday!
Communion: TODAY we celebrate the
sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. We
believe that the Lord’s Supper is a gift of
grace to God’s people, and that God
nourishes our faith through this meal.
All baptized Christians who are in a
growing relationship with God through
Jesus Christ are welcome around this
table. Children who are baptized are
also welcome to participate if it is in the
parent’s opinion that the child expresses
age appropriate understanding of his/her
faith and the sacrament. If your child
wishes to begin participating in the
Lord’s Supper, we simply ask that you
contact the board of Elders for approval,
so that we can be in conversation with
your family as your child begins to
participate.
Sunday School: Classes resume for all
ages TODAY.
Email Announcements: Each Friday we
send electronic versions of the Sunday
bulletin and Community Opportunities
by email. We also send prayer concerns
and congregational updates/reminders
by email as needed. If you are not
currently receiving these emails and
would like to begin receiving them,
please contact the church office at
[email protected] or 399-1578.
Giving in 2014: Regular giving is one
way that you support the ministry work
of North Holland Reformed Church.
There are two options for giving in
2014. The Deacons have provided every
member and regularly attending family
with giving envelopes for the 2014
calendar year. Please enclose checks or
cash in your family’s numbered
envelope each time you give.
Alternately, North Holland can also
accept electronic giving of tithes and
offerings through PayPal. PayPal is free
and convenient when you select to
withdraw payment from your bank
account. Simply send payment to:
[email protected]. If you
don’t have a PayPal account yet, go to
PayPal.com to set one up. When you
use either of these methods of giving,
the Deacons can provide you with a
year-end Contribution Statement for tax
purposes. If you have any questions or
concerns please contact Rick Schreur
(616-610-5664).
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Nursery: For the health and well-being
of our kids and volunteers, please keep
your child home if he/she has a fever,
cough, colored nasal discharge or has
experienced diarrhea or vomiting within
the last 48 hours.
Nursery Volunteers: Due to the smaller
number of infants and toddlers who are
utilizing our nursery, we are reducing
the number of scheduled volunteers
each week. Please remember that
according to our Child Protection policy,
no 2 related individuals may be alone in
the Nursery with children. Additionally,
no 2 male volunteers may be alone with
children.
Please
keep
these
requirements in mind when finding a
substitute.
