TEAM Event FAQ
What is the TEAM Event?
A day-long service event tailored to the interests of local
members prepared by our Area in partnership with the World
Service Office. The Area and World Service Office Task
Force worked together to plan an agenda of workshops and
presentations that address the Area’s specific needs and
expand members’ understanding of our worldwide
fellowship. A minimum of three representatives from the
World Service Office — volunteers and staff members —
plan to participate.
What is the Purpose of the TEAM Event?
The aim of the TEAM event is to provide an
opportunity for Al-Anon and Alateen members
to learn more about service and the Al-Anon
program with topics chosen by the Area and
World Service Office together.

When will the TEAM Event take place?
The TEAM event will be Saturday, November
6th, 2010 from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Registration
8:15 to 9:00 AM. The evening before, there will
be a Speaker Meeting and Preview of TEAM
Event, Friday, November 5th, 2010 7:00 PM 10:00 PM.
What about the Speaker Meeting?
The evening before the TEAM event there will
be a speaker meeting with Al-Anon and
Alateen speakers, as well as a preview of the
TEAM event. The Speaker Meeting and
Preview of TEAM Event will be Friday,
November 5th, 2010 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Where will the TEAM Event take place?
The TEAM event and the Friday Evening
Speaker meeting will be at the Doubletree
Hotel Livermore, 720 Las Flores Road,
Livermore, CA 94551.
What will it cost to attend?
Suggested donation to the TEAM event is $10;
Alateens - $3.
Suggested donation for the Friday meeting is
$3.
No pre-registration is available or needed for
either event.
No one turned away for lack of funds.
