Bertrand Schmitt, Chief Operating
Officer, leaves the company
on 15th April 2017.
Establishment of a Group Management
Committee.
After 22 years with Hager Group, member
of the Board of Directors and Chief
Operating Officer (COO) Bertrand
Schmitt will pursue his remarkable
career outside of the company to lead
another organisation as CEO.

The position of COO will not be replaced.
Instead, Hager Group will establish a Group
Management Committee. The GMC will
assist the Board of Directors in operational
and strategic issues and drive the
transformation of the company forward to
reach its ambitious objectives. As such, the
company sets the stage to remain a leading
player in the electrical industry in the future.
The GMC will be composed of CEO Daniel
Hager, who will head the Committee, the
two Board members Philippe Ferragu
(CGRO) and Franck Houdebert (CHRO) as
well as three more top executives: François
Lhomme (Senior Vice President Engineering
& Operations), Mike Elbers (SVP Region
Europe) and Pascal Dubreucq (SVP Region
APAC – Asia, Pacific, Australia, China).
