In our holy book "Qur'an", God says "Money and children are the embellish of life".
However, some people do not feel this way; they do not thank their god for the
blessing of children. A lot of women these days, as soon as she delivers the baby she
throw him away as if he is a trash or something that is not useful to her. Others just
take her child to the orphan's house where they take care of him. This paper will talk
about one of those nonprofit organizations that take care about those orphans.
One of the non-profit organizations that are located in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia is "Ensan" which is considered to be "Charity Committee for Orphans Care".
The charity is located in Riyadh which is considered to be the capital of the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia, and was first established at 1999. The reason behind having such
charity is that the citizens of Riyadh felt that they are responsible about those orphans
and that they owe them. They started by writing a letter to the Ministry of Labor and
Social Affairs, and that brought it to his royal highness prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz
the ruler of Riyadh City. The prince on his side agreed on establishing such charity
and welcomed the idea of it, his royal highness also decided to be the president of the
charity. The charity is intended to benefit the orphans by providing them several
services such as cash, food and in-kind assistance. In addition, it provides paying the
rent and utility bills for the orphans. Furthermore, it provides other types of serveices
starting from restoration of homes to health care to education to the care and
rehabilitation services, training and employment. Also, it provides entertainment,
educational, guidance and counseling programs that care in building the children's
personality in addition to discovering and developing their talents. The charity's
scope has indeed expanded through several countries all over the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia, totaling eleven branches. The branches are located in "north of Riyadh
branch", "south of Riyadh branch", "east of Riyadh branch", "west of Riyadh branch",

"AlKarj province branch", "AlDawadmi province branch", "AlZelfi province branch",
AlAflaj province branch", AlRawdah province in AlRiyadh branch", "Almajmaa
branch" and "Wadi AlDawaser branch". The charity reports on its outcomes through
several ways, either by its electronic website which is
www.ensan.org.sa/home/newsy.html , or by its magazine which is issued monthly and
contains what are the activities and programs that were done through the month. The
resources that are provided for the charity are either through the people or other
charity organizations. They can resource the charity either through ATM, telephone
banks or the internet. To resource through the ATM they can use several banks such
as Alrajhi bank on the account number 164608010000190, NCB through the account

through Alinma bank through the account number 68220002000000. They can do it
through any bank machine by first entering the card, choose the language and enter
the pass code, second frpm the options list choose convert. After that, chose the
conversion type which is account in the same bank, then choose the amount of money
to be converted. Then enter the charity account number based on the previous
account numbers. The last step is that there will appear a screen that shows the name
of the charity where the money will be converted to, the account number and the
amount of money to be converted, this way you can confirm all the information by
pressing yes so it can successfully proceed the process of converting the money.

Another way to resource the charity is through the telephone bank by first calling the
number of the bank you want to convert the money through and follow the phone
operator guidance. Then you will choose converting from your account to the same
bank's account, after that choose the number of the account to be converted from then
the number of the account to be converted to based on the previous list. Enter the
amount of money you want to convert and then press #, finally to confirm the process
press the number one. The third and the last way to convert the money is thorugh
using the internet by first entering the online web site of the bank, choose the online
banking and press enter. After that enter your user name and your password, then
choose standing orders (if you are using Alrajhi bank you have to convert the money
at the first time through the ATM). Then choose (convert to other for Alrajhi bank)
from the list that appears in front of you or the standing orders. Finally specify the
account number, enter the number and the period dates. People can also have the
charity membership where they can meet with the charity and discuss with them
several things in order to increase the financial resources of the charity through
seeking to activate new and innovative ways to attract new members, which is
organized with the rest of departments, divisions and branches in the charity and
benefit from experiences of associations and other facilities and work to develop plans
and public proposals. To encourage the employees and the people working in the
charity, it decided to provide an annual award for the branch or one of its divisions in
both male and female campuses, who gain the highest points regarding the evaluation
criteria at the end of each Hijri year. The excellence award's advantages are first, the
rewarding is in the association's annual ceremony. Second, the winner will get a
shield of honor in addition to a financial reward which half of the salary's basic
amount. Third, it supports the worker in the annual evaluation of job performance;

which helps him in the upgrade and increase the annual increment. However, there
are several terms or qualifications for the prize, the worker must fill the main form to
be nominated for the award. The last day for receiving the forms or the applications
is the last day of the year. In addition, the worker must receive an excellent grade in
the final average for all the branches of the award.
Recently, the charity decided to start a new project which is basically about building
a village for the children that consists of several houses, to make them live like
normal children and in order to make them feel that not just because they are orphans
that does not mean that they do not deserve a normal life. The goals of the charity is
to raise the children on the principles of Islam and provide the appropriate
environment for them to love and exercise different activities. In addition, to insure
for the orphans the necessities of the precious life and to take care of them socially,
psychologically and healthily. Also, put them in schools and follow their education in
addition to qualify them to face the life. The village is located in "Aleesha"
neighborhood in the middle of Riyadh town, the land was donated for the charity by
Fahad Bin Abdulrahman Al-Tayash; which is about 6470 square meter. The basic
elements of the village are; first the mother and the aunt. The mother is the like the
boss in the house who take care of the children and the aunt support the role of the
mother when she is not around. Also, there are the brothers and sisters, the village
receives the children from infants until they are nine regarding the males and until
marriage for the females. The village consists of housing units which are equipped
for that purpose, they are 12 separate villas that include a garden, children play
ground, office building, and children's library in addition to separate houses for male
children who are above the age of nine. Children, are also divided into several teams
based on their skills, there is first the system team which enhance the spirit of

leadership in the children. Second, there is the football team which concentrates on
two main goals; first entertainment ad second is fill the time. The last team is the
division of Solomon, which concentrates on children who have nice voices and try to
hone their talents.
In the end, I believe that having charities like "Ensan" which does not only take
care of the orphans but make them feel that they are not different from any other
children in the world is very important. People should help fund those charities and
participate in them because helping is a very good thing to do and especially if you
are drawing a smile on a child face. In addition, many other charities should be like
"Ensan" in terms of their activities and the way they motivate their workers.
