Park and Ride Ticket Refund Policy
The following Glasgow 2014 Park and Ride Ticket Refund Policy is designed to outline the
circumstances in which a ticket refund will be offered.
Definitions and Key Terms:
Facility
Refers to the park and ride service operated by Glasgow 2014.
Games Venue
Means a venue at, in or through which the Games are taking
place.
Glasgow 2014
Refers to Glasgow 2014 Limited, the company established for
the primary purpose of planning, organising and delivering the
Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games (“Games”).
Ticket
The ticket provided by Glasgow 2014 to the Ticket Holder
(subject to the Park and Ride and Accessible Transport Ticket
Terms and Conditions) that grants the Ticket Holder the right to
use booked parking for vehicles at the various park and ride,
and parking facilities as is identified on the ticket.
ticketSOUP
Refers to the Scottish Exhibition Centre Limited, the company
responsible for providing the park and ride and accessible
transport booking system.
Ticket Holders
Any individual who is in actual and legitimate possession of a
Ticket including, without limitation, Ticket Purchasers and
guests.
Ticket Purchaser
Any individual who has purchased one or multiple Tickets from
Glasgow 2014.
Session
A session of one of the seventeen sports or two ceremonies
held at a particular Venue on a specified date and time.
Ticket Holders acknowledge that Glasgow 2014, when operating conditions require, are entitled to
transfer your booking to an alternative Facility serving the same Games Venue.
There will be no refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in the date or time of a Session unless
the Ticket Purchaser qualifies for a refund under the policy set forth below.
No Tickets will be replaced or refunded if the Ticket is forgotten, lost, stolen, defaced, damaged or
destroyed.
Refunds
1.1
If Glasgow 2014 can no longer provide the Facility booked by you and Glasgow 2014 cannot
transfer your Ticket to an alternative Facility serving the same Games Venue, Ticket Holders
shall be eligible for a refund.
1.2
If Glasgow 2014 can no longer provide the Facility booked by the Ticket Holder and the Ticket
Holder does not agree to its Ticket being transferred by Glasgow 2014 to an alternative Facility
serving the same Games Venue, Ticket Holders shall be eligible for a refund.
Glasgow 2014 will use reasonable efforts to communicate such changes to Ticket Purchasers. As
soon as possible after Glasgow 2014 becomes aware of its inability to provide the Facility all
available information will be posted on glasgow2014.com.

Refund procedures
1. No refunds in relation to Park and Ride Tickets will be issued at any Glasgow 2014 ticket
outlets or venue ticket office.
2. All refunds will be processed by ticketSOUP on behalf of Glasgow 2014.
3. Refunds will only be made to the Ticket Purchaser, not the Ticket Holder. Refunds will be given
up to the face value of the Ticket purchased.
4. If entitled to a refund, the Ticket Purchaser must provide ticketSOUP with all required
documentation and information no later than 10 August 2014.
5. Ticket Purchasers are solely responsible for recovering tickets to a Facility from Ticket Holders.
6. Any refund due shall be made to the payment card used to purchase the Ticket. In the
event that other means of payment were employed, refunds shall be made by such means
as Glasgow 2014 deem appropriate, which may include payment by cheque, or direct bank
transfer (where we have account details for the Ticket Purchaser). Glasgow 2014 shall
endeavour to process all refunds promptly.
7. Glasgow 2014 shall have no further liability beyond the face value of the Ticket(s) purchased.
Glasgow 2014 will not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. Glasgow
2014 will not be liable for any travel, subsistence and accommodation relating to the nonavailability of a Facility.
