Dear John,
I am writing to inform you of price increases in our primary raw materials, for both kraft and recycled liner,
which have been announced for implementation mid-August 2016.
With increases in the price of recovered fibre and adverse currency movements, backed-up with strong
demand and a tightening of supply, we have no option but to increase prices by 6% effective on all deliveries
on, or after the 5th of September 2016.
We have a strong integrated model in order to maintain a continuity of supply and will endeavor to reduce
the impact to our customers through continued focus on cost-out initiatives.
During this challenging period, your Smurfit Kappa representative will keep in close contact to discuss the
new pricing details.
