Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010: the evolution of technology and
comfort.
Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, June 2015 - When talking about Laika, we often refer to the company’s
ability to listen to its customers to understand and meet their needs. This perspective has led to
the evolution of the two low-profile Kreos of the 5000 series: Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010.
Both models have a Fiat AL-KO light 130 hp chassis and are 7.69 m long. These two vehicles
have a high aesthetic value. Externally, they feature an automotive-style rear wall, LED
headlights with chrome finishes, and fully renewed silver/anthracite design graphics with
brushed 3D effect. The distinctively Italian interior design provides Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010
maximum comfort.
The manufacturing technique and technical features are the core value of the two low-profile
motorhomes of Laika’s Kreos 5000 series.
DOUBLE FLOORING WITH AN INSULATING FUNCTION
The double flooring combines a high insulating and storage function. Three of the sides of the
double flooring are covered with a layer of glass fibre to further increase the insulating function.
The internal height is 300 mm (maximum, 200 mm minimum). One of the great advantages of
the double flooring is that it allows you to access it from outside, from both sides. You can store
even bulky items, such as skiing equipment, tables, chairs, etc.
You can also access the double flooring from inside, thanks to two maxi hatches that light up
automatically when you open the cover. This way, you can take or store your objects in the
double flooring without having to get off the vehicle.
SUPERIOR EQUIPMENT
Kreos 5009 e Kreos 5010 have a high number of radiators to ensure top heating performance.
Both vehicles feature 17 lm of radiators positioned strategically under the dinette beds, in the
double flooring, near the systems, in the rear sleeping area, in the bathroom, between the cab
and the living area, under the seats in the driving cab, and even in the garage. The Kreos 5009
has a standard ALDE water-based heating system with a shutter in the bedroom, which allows
the crew to adjust the heat independently from the rest of the vehicle.
The maxi-sized clean water and waste water tanks are housed in the double flooring in an
antifreeze position and are heated by a coil connected to the ALDE heating system. The
structure of the standard ALDE heating system and all the systems in general, make Laika the
leading manufacturer of vehicles for cold climates. The tanks can be accessed from the rear
garage. This makes all tank maintenance and cleaning operations extremely easy, without
having to dirt the living area. The additional tank can be installed in an insulated position in the
double flooring.
Laika confirms its attention not only to functionality and quality, but also to practicality.
COMFORT ALL AROUND YOU
Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010 mark a new way of living this environment with the Italian warmth
and style. The generous size of the kitchen, its maxi countertop, two sinks (one of which with a
dual sink/draining board function) and double shelf are very functional. The Corian kitchen
countertop has an edge that prevents liquids from sliding. The electrically operated appliance
housing integrated in the wall unit makes the room comfortable and practical.
With the standard Tec-Tower oven, inserted in the column, Laika has enhanced the value of the
area under the kitchen with ample storage space for pots and pans. This way, the crew can
exploit every corner of the vehicle.
The Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010 outfitting ensures maximum comfort. The living area is
practical and functional, thanks to the one-level floor, the standard sitting-room, which can be
converted into a bedroom, and folding bed (optional) recessed in the ceiling, thereby allowing
to have an internal height of 1.95 m.
For your moments of relaxation Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010 have a bathroom area worthy of
extra- luxury vehicles. The separate shower cubicle, worthy of a 5-star suite, is equipped with a
double drain plug and fully exploits the 2.10 m internal height of these vehicles. This way, when
the shower is not used, you can place two removable shelves (optional) for clothes and towels.
The design bathroom features a porcelain-like countertop, very pleasant to the touch, large
mirrors, and a standard window.
In the rear part of Kreos 5009 features the 2 m long twin beds and a special ergonomic system
with spring elements under the mattress. The differentiation of these elements and their
positioning allow the resting surface to adjust to the body weight and shape. For those who like
reading in bed, the hight-adjustable backrests allow you to choose the most comfortable
position. The wardrobes under the beds can be accessed both from the top (thanks to the
folding bed) and from the front doors. Kreos 5009 has two partition systems between the living
and sleeping areas. A sliding door separates the bedroom from the living area and creates a
separate room, ensuring total privacy. A second door-closing system allows the creation of a
large bathroom by joining the shower and toilet compartment.
Kreos 5010 is a very reliable vehicle. Its sleeping area features a fixed double bed, 1.55 m
wide. Designed, as its sister vehicle, for cold climates, Kreos 5010 has two large floor/ceiling
wardrobes (90 cm wide!) in its rear part. This way you can store away even your winter mountain
clothes. The USB socket both in the living and sleeping area allows you to charge your
smartphone or tablet.
Going on holiday is easier with Kreos 5009 and Kreos 5010, thanks to its multiple storage
solutions. Winter sports, but also canoeing and surfing enthusiasts will find in the Laika Series
5000 the vehicles that meet their every requirement, thanks to the large garages with lowered
loading floor, clothing rack, storage pockets, large doors on both sides, double lighting, ALDE
radiators, 230V, 12V sockets, and even a TV socket.
