Instructional Activity Cognitive Expectation 1. Students watch classmates write problems and solutions on the blackboard. 2. Students will explore the New Hampshire primaries and the polling process by analyzing polling information, examining the effects of polls, and creating graphs that represent polling data. 7. Students are asked to identify the mystery operation a computer is performing. Students give the computer two numbers to calculate, and it tells them the answer. This is their first piece of evidence. They then gather more evidence by continuing to enter pairs of numbers for the computer to calculate until they think they know what is happening. .
