The Climate Change and challanges with
Renewable Energy like Wind and Sun
The Negative Climate Change
-can it be stopped ?
If every human on the planet live and consume like a Swede
we should have 3,7 planets-but we do not have it !
Ref. WWFs Living Planet Report anno 2014. The new Report anno 2016 we need to have 4,2 planets

Our problem…
Level
The Energy consumptions will increase
We must stop to use fossils and reduce
emission of CO2? Renewable resources
will be the most important key!
Energy consumption
CO2 emissions
Time
What will happen if the negativ impack of climate continue
to to expand?
Decreasing amount of fresh water. Melting glaciers and less snow.
1/6 of the earth’s population will not have enough water.
About 1/3 of all species will be extinct.
Less production of food
Incresing numbers of floods.
Source: IPCC 2007
We must stop the negativ
development of the climate ?
Doing nothing (business as usual) means an expansion of greenhouse
gases and emissions with 30-90% already 2030
Energy consumption will grow global with 45-100% to 2030
To expand less than 450 ppm/CO2 demands quick action – emissions
should not keep to expande after 2020.
More than 50 % reduction must be a global goal to reach less than 2degrees C.
Technologies for renewables and a more effective energy production
are already in commission.
What does it cost to stopp the negative impact?
Approx. 30 €/tonne/CO2 emission. That is less than 1 % of global
BNP/annual to reach the 2-degrees goal .
We must change from Fossiles to Renewables

Wind Power –an important recource for the
future global development
Global Annual Installed Wind Power Capacity 2001-2016
Global Cummulative Installed Wind Capacity 2001-2016
About 1000 TWh Wind (5 % )of the global production of electricity comes from Wind turbines
Top 10 New Installed Wind Capacity Jan-Dec 2016
New installed and decommissioned power capacity in the EU 2016
Net Electricity Power Installations in the EU from 2000 to 2016
Total Power Production in Sweden 2016
In Scandinavien-Norway and Sweden there is fine
conditions for wind turbines
