DRESS CODE FOR FTA Students.

SOUTH COBB HIGH SCHOOL Freshman Transition
Academy
DRESS CODE FOR F.T.A.
Students.
We would like to instill in our students enrolled in the
Freshman Transition Academy the importance of
presenting themselves in an appropriate manner in their
conduct and their appearance. FTA students will
participate in classes in a separate part of campus from 1012 grade students. Dress code checks will take place
during homeroom on a daily basis. Students found in
violation will be placed in isolation until appropriate
clothing is obtained. A repeat violation is considered an
act of insubordination and will result in administrative
consequences.

UNIFORM DRESS:
Standard School Attire
MONDAY – FRIDAY…
Students attending South Cobb High School Freshman
Transition Academy are expected to dress in a manner that
supports a positive learning environment that is free of
distractions and disruptions.
Clothing items should not include visible brand names,
pictures, designs, or writing. Students may wear items such
as jewelry and other appropriate expressive accessories
(pins, wristbands, ribbons, etc.), as long as these items are
not a disruption to the educational environment. Any
questions about the appropriateness of an item should be
discussed in advance with a school administrator. Students
will be allowed to wear specific clothing for religious
reasons, but parents should discuss this in advance with
school administration. The uniform dress requirements will
be reviewed and modified if necessary by the school
administrative team. On Dress For Success Wednesdays
students can chose to wear the standard attire or Dress for
Success. On Spirit wear Fridays, students can choose to
wear the standard attire above or a South Cobb t-shirt with
jeans. Jeans cannot have rips, tears or holes. Spirit/Casual
