Once your account has been created a notification will be sent to the email address you provided, this email will contain your User ID and Password. The first time you login you will be asked to change your password to something more memorable, from then on you will not have to reset your password unless you request it. Please note that your password must contain a minimum of six characters. Existing Tyre Online Service Users If you are a regular user of the Tyre Online Service then your details will already have been transferred over to TyrePortal. You can use your existing Tyre Online user ID and password to login but you will be asked to change it, from then on you will need to use the new password when logging onto TyrePortal. 3 Logging on/off In the Welcome screen enter the user ID and password. The user ID is always lower case without any spaces: Click on submit to enter TyrePortal. If you cannot remember your password just click on Forgot your Password?, then in the next screen enter your user ID and click on confirm: A new password will be sent to your email address shortly after. To log off from TyrePortal, click on the Log Off option in the top right-hand of the screen: 4 The Home Page As you can see, the Home page provides you with a host of information that you’ll find of great benefit. The following is a step-by-step walk-through of the features displayed. Find Products This is a quick search facility enabling you to find the tyre you need, it is useful if you only need to order one product. Just type in the size you are looking for and click on ‘Search’, the results will then be processed. There is also an option for an ‘Advanced Search’ which takes you to the Order Management screen. The function is explained further on in the User Guide. My Top 10 5 A list showing your 10 most popular sizes. You can also order from this list if you click on the size you need and then enter the quantity in the following screen. Account Status Clicking on this option takes you to the Account Status screen, which is explained in more detail later on in the Guide. E Links and E FACTS, E NEWS? These options listed link you to the Goodyear brand websites as well as other useful information, just click on a link to be re-directed to that web page. 6 Order Management This is the main page where you can do the majority of your ordering, view your order history and also see your account’s financial status (if you have requested to have that facility). Placing an Order Once you click on the Order Management tab you’ll automatically go to the Order Entry screen, your account number and the address where your delivery will be shipped are displayed at the top. There is also a calendar where you can choose the delivery date of your order, and a space where you can enter your Purchase Order Number/Reference. Note: if when placing an order you don’t want it to be delivered the next day you MUST change the date to when you want your delivery. To change the Requested Delivery Date click on the calendar at the top of the screen and select the required date, this must be done before you start fill your order basket: 7 To search for a product, click in the Size box and type in the size that you need. You can quicken your search by entering the speed rating at the end of the size, and by also adding the first two letters of the brand you need (e.g. 1956515ZGY). When done click on the Search button to begin the processing, the results will show soon afterwards. Highlight the item you wish to order and enter the quantity you need in the Quantity box. The lights show the status of material availability in the warehouse assigned. Red light represents no product available. Amber light represents the products are almost running out .Green light represents there are sufficient products could be ordered. You can click the button in Bulk Quantity Price field to display the detail of bulk price. There is also an Info. button on the right-hand side, click on this to see a picture of the tyre and its features and benefits. Additional Criteria You can further narrow down your search by opening the Additional Criteria and selecting the options available; if you have it then our Material code then this can also be entered to search for a specific tyre. The Order Basket If needed, the quantity in the order basket can be changed, you can also cancel an item by selecting the item and then by clicking on Delete Selected Items, or you can choose Clear Basket to delete all items. These buttons are located in the bottom-left of the screen. You can change delivery service in the basket , and then the price will be changed accordingly. TyrePortal allows you to navigate through the site and keep your current order basket active. So for example you can start your order, choose to see your Order/Account Status or visit the Home page, and then return to the basket later on in the day to finish your order. When you need to view your basket again just click on the tab in Order Management: 8 Checking your Order History Click on Order Status at the top-left of the screen. You can choose to view your orders by a head, which provides the overall details of an order, such as the total amount ordered and confirmed so far plus the order’s current status: You can search by product where you will see the details of your orders, showing each product ordered for a particular order: The backorder tab allows you to view the backorders for the date set: The Returns tab shows all returns/collections for the date set: You can alter the date of your search by clicking on the From and To calendars and then selecting the period you would like to view your orders: 9 In any of these tabs you can click on an order number to view the full details of the order. Clicking on Additional Criteria in the top-right of the screen gives you a large choice to tailor your search; it also enables you to switch to a different account (if permitted) by clicking on the Sold To box. You can also enter the name of the person (first name and surname) who placed the order in the Purchaser box to bring up all orders by that user. Account Status The Account Status option contains information regarding your finances and so has to be requested specifically. 10 By choosing Account Status you can see how much you are overdue by for 30, 60, 90 and 120 days, along with the amount that is due for the same periods. You also have an overview of your past invoices, the amount owed and their due date. ECLAIM E Claim procedure for Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. 1. Customer has tyre with claimable condition 2. Dealer makes decision or discusses with AM / FBM If “B” class – approval required from Divisional Sales Manager or Sales & Operational Manager GAC. Record approval in Dealer reference box on the claim form. 3. Dealer / AM / FBM fills in eClaim and submits 4. Email sent to warehouse notifying them to pick up non-farm tyres 5. Email sent Inspection Centre & Customer Engineering advising them that there is a claim in the system. 6. Dealer prints off claim form and attaches it securely to the tyre, writes Dealer name and claim number on the bead of the tyre. IMPORTANT because if the claim form becomes separated from the tyre we will no way of identifying to whom the tyre belongs. 7. Inspection Centre receives tyre, validates details and either passes for a credit or rejects on non manufacturing grounds, or takes into consideration special requests from AM/ FBM Note on Farm Tyres As with the current system farm tyres do not have to be returned, however, because of the high costs involved with this product, the AM and FBM’s still need to approve the claim, add any comments regarding percentage to pay, gather the serial number and the proof of purchase 11 documentation and forward it along with a copy of the claim form to their State Customer Engineer, as is the current process. Farm tyre claims will not be credited unless this process is followed. E Claim procedure for Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory. 1. Customer has tyre with claimable condition 2. Dealer makes decision or discusses with AM / FBM If “B” class – approval required from Divisional Sales Manager or Sales & Operational Manager GAC. Record approval in Dealer reference box on the claim form. 3. Dealer / AM / FBM fills in eClaim and submits 4. Email sent to Inspection Centre & Customer Engineering advising them that there is a claim in the system. 5. Customer Engineering / Inspection Centre validates claim details and either passes for a credit or asks for the tyre to be held pending further investigation. Or takes into consideration special requests from AM/ FBM. 6. Farm tyre claims will not be credited unless this process is followed. 12 To create an Eclaim: Click on Eclaim at the top of the screen. You can choose to view/Create your Claim. News This page displays all useful and interesting Goodyear news, from the release of new products to technical information. The news is constantly updated and is split into categories, to see an article in a particular category just click on the down arrow in the News Archive window and select the one you want. My Account 13 This is where you can alter your contact information, such as your email address and telephone number. You can also set-up other users in your company/group, if permitted. Please note: your email address must be entered into Contact Information as this is where any new password requests will be sent. Once you’ve changed your details click on the Save button. Change Password please input old password in current Password field, input new password in new Password and confirm the new Password field. Client on [change your password] button to wait for message: password is changed The password should follow the following policy 1) Be at least eight characters in length System Information So that you may experience TyrePortal in its fullest capacity you may need to have the following programs installed onto your computer, these can be downloaded by visiting www.adobe.com and then by clicking on the following icons from the first page: Flash Player Adobe Acrobat Reader These programs are not essential to access and order from TyrePortal but if you would like them installed and need help doing so you can ask your BDM for assistance, or alternatively you can call the helpdesk on: 08453-453453. 14 Easier Access You can make it easier to access TyrePortal by setting it as a favourite and by placing an icon on your desktop, here’s how to do it: If you are using Internet Explorer: Click on Favorites at the top the screen, then from the menu choose Add to Favorites and a pop-up will appear, click on OK: A link will then show in your favourites menu the next time you select it. To place an icon on your desktop simply click on Favorites again and right-click on TyrePortal, then go to Send To and click on Desktop from the menu. If you are using Mozilla Firefox: Click on Bookmarks at the top of the page and choose Bookmark This Page, a pop-up will appear then choose OK: The link will then show in your Bookmarks menu.
