We have officially kicked off plans for The 5th Annual PinkTie.org Event to be held on May

instrumental since PinkTie.org’s inception in 2012. The “Big Event” held each May has
received unsurpassed recognition as it shows the true spirit of Long Islanders as they
join together to make a difference in the fight against cancer and other diseases that
disproportionately affect our loves ones here on Long Island.
PinkTie.org’s Annual Event continues to emulate the commitment to and steadfast
growth of our Go-Giver movement. The organization continues to grow exponentially and
engages members of the local business community, corporations, hospitals, athletes,
celebrities, and local charities – a true representation of the those looking to make a
difference where they live, work and play.

In August, for the first time ever, The Barclays Golf Tournament partnered up with
PinkTie1000 chosen as the local Long Island charity of choice. For 4 unforgettable days,
the PinkTie.org Patio welcomed guests overlooking the iconic 13th hole of the PGA Tour,
establishing a most meaningful and successful charitable partnership that will no doubt
continue to flourish over the coming years.
As the chosen charitable partner in Saks 5th Avenue’s Walt Whitman Key to the Cure,
the PinkTie1000 foundation was the recipient of fundraising efforts generated by a
generous store vendor give back program which in turn supports our chosen beneficiary,
The Townwide Fund of Huntington. Engaging the local business community, PinkTie.
org upholds the methodology that the money stays where it is raised and goes back to
supporting our local community.
Our PinkTie1000 Halloween Spooktacular expressed the spirit of our members as we
joined together with the Carol M. Baldwin Research Fund in the fight against breast
cancer. It was an honor for the Cave family and the PinkTie1000 foundation to present a
$25,000 check to the Carol M. Baldwin foundation as together, we continue the endless
fight against Breast Cancer which affects so many in our Long Island community.
There are so many more momentous victories to share including efforts that support other
charitable organizations in our community. I invite you to see highlights and visit PinkTie.
