Jason Liechty is Environmental
Projects Coordinator with the
Broward County Environmental
Planning and Community Resilience
Division, where he manages
environmental policy and legislative
issues and contributes to many
climate and energy initiatives. He
serves on the Southeast Florida
Regional Climate Change Compact
Staff Steering Committee and as the
Compact’s policy and legislative
coordinator. Jason has also worked
as a planner, legislative aide,
Paul has been with Admirals Bank
for over 5 years providing
homeowners with expert guidance
and outstanding customer service.
In his time with Admirals Bank,
Paul has been instrumental to the
growth and success of the Home
Improvement Lending
Department. His sales experience
has been used to set goals as well

employees. Paul specializes in
financing residential solar and
renewable energy systems which
Emily Stiever is Chief of Staff for
Community Power Network, a national
nonprofit dedicated to helping
communities develop communitybased renewable energy project. Emily
oversees CPN’s administrative,
financial, and operational activities and
provides technical assistance to CPN
member organizations. In her role she
assists communities in developing and
implementing community-based
renewable energy projects and
programs. She also oversees and
provides cross-cutting guidance to

Development for Ygrene Energy
Fund
Rafael is responsible for the growth
and expansion in the State of Florida
as well as the Business Development
with stakeholders. He holds a
Bachelor’s degree from the
University of Arizona and a MBA
from Nova Southeastern University,
in addition to various licenses- the
most pertinent being his General
Contractor and Real Estate
certifications. His experience in the

experience working with companies
to improve the bottom line while
boosting environmental
performance. As the founder and
director of Karbon Strateji, John
provided business development
support for companies offering solar
PV and energy-efficient products.
Prior to Karbon Strateji, he was a
managing consultant at Blu Skye

designed and implemented
corporate sustainability programs
John Gingrich joined
EnergySage in 2012, is a
member of the executive
management team and leads
the company’s efforts to
engage with a range of
organizations to develop
creative solutions for bringing
solar energy systems to
consumers via the
EnergySage Solar
Marketplace. John comes to
EnergySage after several
years of successful
Justin Allender is a native
Floridian who hails from
Pensacola. He is a proud
alumnus of Florida State
University where he
received his M.B.A. He has
over five years' experience
in Banking helping clients

Paul Pusateri

Emily Stiever
CPN’s state programs, helping state

advocacy. Before joining CPN, Emily
worked as a renewable energy
consultant specializing in solar electric
and solar water heating initiatives and
incentive programs. She holds a B.A. in
Political Ecology from Grinnell College.
Rafael Perez
building industry has foundational
roots in understanding and
executing the process entirely from
conception, financing, construction
and leasing. Prior to his entrance
into construction/development, he
held positions within state politics
including aide to then State
Representative Marco Rubio and
Deputy Chief of staff to the Speaker
of the Florida House of
Representatives Johnnie Byrd.
Outside of work he enjoys spending
time with his family, his wife
Elizabeth and their daughters
Katherine and Madeleine, working
out (when he has the time) and
running political campaigns/staying
involved in community initiatives.
