Ann Chadwick BHS II (reg’d) 45 mins private lesson: £25 1 hour semi-private lesson: £20 each Ann has been working as a qualified professional in the Horse Industry for over 30 years. She holds the British Horse Society Intermediate Instructors Certificate (equivalent – International Coaching Certificate, Level III), has been a Level Three NVQ Assessor for the Equine Industry and also holds Side Saddle Association Certificates. She Instructs, Trains and Examines for the Pony Club and regularly judges Dressage and Showing at Riding Club Level, both locally and nationally. She also holds her City & Guilds 7302 Certificate in Teaching and her University Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and, until recently, has been teaching and lecturing part-time in the Equine Unit of an Agricultural College. She left this post to take up the position of Events Coordinator for Lodge Farm Equestrian Centre and continues to also work as a freelance, self-employed Riding Instructor. Ann is also a panel judge (O D) for Senior Showing & Dressage. Ann Chadwick In the past, Ann has worked in a variety of roles in the equine sector, including as Yard Manager and Head of Staff and Student Training at a busy BHS approved Riding School, Livery Yard, Competition and Examination Centre. She also, with her family, owned and ran an ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) approved Riding School, Livery Yard and Competition Centre. The yard was a training and examination centre for the British Horse Society, Riding and Road Safety Examination, and training for other BHS examinations was also provided. Ann has competed at National Level in Side Saddle and BHS Equitation Classes., County Level Showing, Affiliated Dressage, Affiliated Show jumping and British Riding Club Eventing. She is available to teach riders of any level and is happy to teach both adults and children, offering instruction and coaching in dressage, jumping and showing. She is also available to help with BHS and Pony Club exam preparation, both ridden and stable management. Ann is currently working to promote the work of ISES (International Society for Equitation Science) to encourage the understanding and use of Equine Learning Theory and would like to work towards achieving her Level One Certificate in Equitation Science. For bookings with Ann at Lodge Farm Equestrian Centre, please ring 01782 551961 or 07989 642204 Richard Hope British Dressage Listed Coach Richard started his Dressage career with the late Lady Joicey and was involved with training from eminent coaches such as Christoph Hess and Stephen Clarke, and he also trained with FBHS & List 1 judge, Tim Downes. Richard has been described as having a ‘real talent for helping grass roots riders’ and he believes in developing a clear basic skill set in the riders he works with, and developing performance through systematic and logical progression. Richard has produced a wide variety of young horses, many of whom have worked successfully up the levels and have gone on to have fruitful careers with riders from both the UK and overseas. As well as the coaches already mentioned, Richard also has help with his own horses from British Olympic Dressage rider Richard Davidson FBHS. Richard regularly coaches at BD training clinics, but is very happy to work with horses and riders of all ages, types and levels, and enjoys helping people to ‘exceed their perceived limitations’. In recent years the emergence of Equitation Science has provided evidence of what works and why, and it is enabling Coaches/Trainers & Riders to examine what they do, develop their understanding of the horse and, as a result, become more effective, As well as Teaching & Coaching, Steve actively Trains & Competes with his own horse. Steve Pryde Hannah Jackson BSJA Accredited Coach, (BHSII) and a UKCC Level 3 Coach. She also holds a University Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) Hannah Jackson Hannah is a British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor (BHSII) and a UKCC Level 3 Coach. She also holds a University Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) and is currently working part time as a Lecturer in the Equine Unit of an agricultural college. She has Show Jumped for Great Britain on numerous National Show Jumping teams in both the UK and Europe, and has competed at Hickstead (RIHS), Olympia and the Horse of the Year Show. Hannah teaches private clients and is a Show Jump trainer for a number of Riding Clubs and Pony Clubs. She regularly competes with her own horses, as well as horses owned by, and on behalf of other people. She also takes horses for schooling and to sell on for clients.
