CITYLINK TULLA WIDENING PROJECT: SITE COMPOUND AT MASCOMA STREET, STRATHMORE HEIGHTS
Construction activities on the Melbourne Airport to Bulla Road section of the Citylink Tulla widening project began in May this
year. Lendlease is the construction contractor delivering this section of the project, on behalf of VicRoads. We are writing to
inform you about the establishment of a site compound to support the works that will be used by some of our construction team
during the delivery of this section of the project.
Location
The site compound will be located off Mascoma Street, adjacent to Collier Park, as shown on the map below.
What will the site compound be used for?

A small number of site workers, site sheds
and toilet facilities.

To store site materials, including precast
concrete items.

To store small stockpiles of materials.
When the site compound will be used:
Work will begin on the installation of this
compound from July 2016 and it will be removed
in early 2018.
Work hours are typically from 7am to 6pm
Monday to Saturday; however it may be
necessary to access this site compound outside
of these times, when night works or Sunday
works are required on the freeway and
surrounding areas to ensure the safety of the
public and workers. We do not anticipate works in
the compound to be noisy.
What to expect:
While we are here, you can expect the following
activities:

Workers and project team members arriving
at the site compound prior to and during
shifts.

Light vehicles entering and exiting the
compound.

Trucks transporting materials to and from the
site.
