i) Remote Members
(a) Remote Members will be entitled to a maximum of seven (7) rounds
of golf per annum.
(b) If a Remote Member plays in the Captain’s Challenge, it will be
included as one of their permitted seven (7) rounds of golf.
(c) A Remote Member will pay a $50 green fee per round of golf unless
playing in the Captain’s Challenge or a Competition when the
member will pay the $50 green fee plus the competition fee.
(d) A Remote Member is anybody who lives outside a 150 kilometre
radius of The Brisbane Golf Club and satisfies the committee that the
member meets the ‘spirit’ of this category.
(e) When making an application for Remote Membership the member
must outline to the committee the reasons behind the request to move
into this membership category.
(f) Applications for Remote Membership will be considered and
determined at General Committee meetings.
(g) No refunds to the annual subscription fee will be provided to a
member transferring to a Remote Membership.
(h) The unused proportion of the subscription fee of a member
transferring to a Remote Membership will be credited to the
subscription fee to be paid by the member when returning to a full
playing membership category.
(i) Remote Members are ineligible to win Honour Board and Major
Trophies events and Pennant competitions.
(j) Remote Members are permitted to use the Clubhouse, practice
facilities and driving range at any time.
(k) Playing on the course, including the spare holes, constitutes a round
of golf and a green fee of $50 is payable.
(l) Remote Members must be an existing seven-day or six-day member
for a period of 1 year before being permitted to move to this category.
(m) Remote Members may introduce guests to the Club except on

Saturdays, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
(ii) Limited Playing Member
(a) Limited Playing Members will be permitted a maximum of seven (7)
rounds of golf per annum.
(b) If a Limited Playing Member plays in the Captain’s Challenge, it will
be included as one of their permitted seven (7) rounds of golf.
(c) A Limited Playing Member will pay a $50 green fee per round of golf
unless playing in the Captain’s Challenge or a Competition when the
member will pay the $50 green fee plus the competition fee.
(d) When making an application for Limited Playing Membership the
member must outline to the Committee the reasons behind the request
to move into this membership category.
(e) Applications for Limited Playing Membership will be considered and
determined at General Committee meeting.
(f) No refunds to the annual subscription fee will be provided to a
member transferring to a Limited Playing Membership.
(g) The unused proportion of the subscription fee of a member
transferring to a Limited Playing Membership will be credited to the
subscription fee to be paid by the member when returning to a full
playing membership category
(h) A Limited Playing Member cannot transfer from a membership
category to the Limited Playing Membership category more than once
in a 12 month period.
(i) Limited Playing Members are ineligible for Honour Board, Major
Trophies, Pennants or club competition other than the Captain's
Challenge.
(j) Limited Playing Members are only permitted to use the practice
facilities and driving range when playing a round of golf.
(k) Limited Members must be an existing seven day or six day member
