plans and resources required to run a therapeutic group for children.

Square where presented will be a program of performances by talented young ethnic schools’ children and
students.

Churches throughout the state will be observing Children’s Week with Prayers for Children of the World or by
holding a worship service for people of all ages that includes children. Family Farm Day is a playful all-age
worship service specifically written to celebrate the children among us and the child within each older person.

Walk to Cure Diabetes
A community event to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes and to raise funds to support vital medical research.The
5km Walk to the Somerton Surf Life Saving Club returning to Wigley Reserve follows the Esplanade and Glenelg
Beach. The Walk is pram and wheelchair friendly and dogs on leashes are permitted.
Join after the Walk for a BBQ lunch, jumping castle, Old McDonalds Farm, Rockabout Climbing Wall, face painting,
t-shirt competition, corporate challenge, raffle and live entertainment by the Cruz Brothers. There will be some food
options available, you are encouraged to bring a healthy diabetes-friendly lunch.

"Fun on the Fleurieu 2014"
An extremely popular annual community event on Friday 31 October from 9.30am to 11.30am, with over 100
families from across the region attending this free family event to celebrate Children’s Week. Investigator College
extends an invitation to organisations across the region to participate in this free event, which is not only fun for the
children attending, but also raises an awareness of the services and education facilities on the Fleurieu. Event is
being held to celebrate children and raise awareness of the importance of the early years of a child’s development.

Walk to Cure Diabetes
The 2.9km or 5.8km (2 laps) Walk will start on the grassed area behind the kiosk and follow paths along the
