2016 SPRING/FALL LEAF COLLECTION SCHEDULE
The Spring/Fall Leaf pickup program in Middle Smithfield Township will occur
Spring Monday, April 25th – Friday, May 20th
Fall Monday, October 24th – Friday, November 18th
Please rake leaves to the side of the street – but not onto the traveled roadway!
Week #1 & 2 Spring Monday, April 25th – Friday May 6th
Fall Monday, October 24th – Friday, November 4th
Including the TOWNSHIP ROADS ONLY:
Wooddale Area and Coolbaugh Drive
Week #3 Spring Monday, May 9th – Friday, May 13th
Fall Monday, November 7th – Friday, November 11th
Including the TOWNSHIP ROADS ONLY:
Route 402 and Oak Grove, Hidden Lake and Timothy Lake
Week #4 Spring Monday, May 16th – Friday, May 20th
Fall November 14th – Friday, November 18th
Including the TOWNSHIP ROADS ONLY:
Lower Lakeview Drive and Sellersville Drive
RESIDENTS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
ONLY LEAVES ARE PICKED UP – PLEASE, NO STICKS, LIMBS, STUMPS, GRASS CLIPPINGS OR ANY OTHER YARD
WASTES.
THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE WHICH IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE DEPENDING ON
WEATHER, VOLUME OR LEAVES, AND ANY OTHER EMERGENCY THAT MAY ARISE.
UNDER TOWNSHIP ORDINANCE, ALL ‘OPEN BURNING’ OF LEAVES IS PROHIBITED.
DO NOT PLACE YOUR GARBAGE OR RECYCLABLES WITH OR INTO THE LEAVES!
If you do not live on a Township Road, your leaves will not be collected. However, you are welcome to drop off
leaves and brush at the Oak Grove Multi-Municipal Compost Facility located at 3305 Oak Grove Road, East
Stroudsburg, PA 18302
Hours of Operation are Monday through Saturday 7am-2pm
If you wish to participate with our program, a centralized collection point must be established within your
community.
