Students from Castletroy College will return to Monaleen Church at the end of April to speak
about their experiences there.

Adoration: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues this Tuesday from 10.00a.m. to 12
noon.
Monaleen Parish: Engagement with Diocesan Pastoral Plan. Liturgy & Life is core strategic
action 7 in the Pastoral Plan. One of the key challenges facing the Church is the shortage of
Priests. In order to develop greater lay participation in different ministries an invitation is being
extended to all parishioners to consider if they would like to assist in leading parish
liturgies. Initially, as part of the support for parishes a training programme conducted over 3
Saturdays – 4th March; 1st April and 6th May – is being arranged to train 3 parishioners, who will
then go on to lead, and train others, in this area. Further information can be obtained from Mgr.
Neenan, Fr Savio or from any member of the Pastoral Council.
From Carnegie Hall to Castletroy LĺADAN to perform Fundraising Concert for Milford National
School: LĺADAN will perform a fundraising concert for Milford NS on Friday, 24th March at
7.30pm in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Castletroy. LĺADAN are an award winning, all
female, traditional music group who have played in Carnegie Hall with the Chieftains. They will be
joined on the night by Milford NS School Choir and Band. Great night of entertainment. Tickets

Migraine Association of Ireland Self Help Group: The Migraine Association of Ireland will hold
three Self-Help Group sessions in the Maldron Hotel, Limerick City on the evenings of Thursday
March 9th, 16th and 23rd. Topics discussed include; Migraine Symptoms; Trigger Factors;
Medical Treatment; Lifestyle Issues; Complementary Treatments; Migraine at Work; Migraine
in Children. As places are limited to 15 max., registration is required. Light refreshments will be

Monaleen Cancer Support Group: Monaleen Fun Run. Monaleen Cancer Support Group are
holding 5K /10K Fun Run and 10K Walk on: Sunday 19th March 2017. Start / Finish Monaleen
GAA Club. 5K / 10K Run starts 2.00pm. 10K Walk starts 2.15pm. Registration in Clubhouse from
11.00am. Entry Fee: 5K /10K Run €20. 10K Walk Adults €10. Children €5. Family €20. All are
welcome. Fun day out for all the Family. Volunteers needed to help as stewards from 1pm to

Monaleen Allotments: The Monaleen Allotment Group have vacant sites for use for anybody
interested this year. Sites are 12 mts x 3 mts at €150 a year and 6 mts x 3 mts at €50 a year. We
