Coaches meeting at 8:45AM (if needed so please let me know in advance of any questions). 2. ISAC U19 Football Rules apply (below for reference) at all times with the following modifications: a. Matches will be X2 15 minute halves. 5 minutes for half-time. i. No extra time will be played after regulation. b. Teams must be ready to start matches at exact start times listed. No matches will start earlier than scheduled. i. Final Rankings will follow ISAC Tournament Tie-Breaks Rules. c. Players should have a different number in order to play. Uniforms or bibs are fine. 3. Tournament Schedule above. a. Roster sizes are at the absolute discretion of the school. b. The Award Ceremony will take place after the final matches at 1300 on the BSB Pitches. All teams should try to be present for the awards. Please note no Sportsmanship Award. GENERAL Tournament INFORMATION: Warm-up balls will NOT be provided. Please bring your own balls for warming up. BSB Nurse will be on duty, located just at the entrance in reception. You are advised to bring your own medical kits. SunBird Sandwiches will be on hand to sell refreshments and food starting at/after 0900 at BSB. Food for purchase will be located just outside the Dome, next to the Primary Library entrance at BSB. Water dispensers will be available; teams should bring their own water bottles. SECTION 26 – U19 FOOTBALL RULES (11-ASIDE) FIFA rules (http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/federation/laws_of_the_game_0708_10565.pdf ) will be applied, except for the following amendments and/or clarifications: 1. 2. 3. 4. Matches shall be 2 x 35 minute halves with a 10 minute stoppage for halftime. Maximum roster size during seasonal/league play and the ISAC Tournament is 17. (4/12) Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Team players and coaches for any school remain on the sideline of the pitch, on their side of half. (03/14) 5. Ties at the end of regulation time will stand in league play. 6. In the case of a forfeit, a 3-0 score will be recorded for league standings. (4/08) 7. Any player who is issued a red card during ISAC play will be suspended from the next scheduled ISAC League or Tournament match for his/her school. (04/09) 8. Any player who is issued a second red card during the same season will be suspended from ISAC play for the remainder of the season. (04/09) 9. All red card violations shall be reported to the ISAC Football Commissioner. (04/09) 10. The following point system shall be used for U19 Football League results (3/06): a. Win = 3 points b. Ties = 1 point c. Losses and Unplayed matches = 0 points 11. The following tie-break system will be used for U19 Football League Standings (3/06): a. Result head to head b. Best goal differential overall in league play c. Most goals scored overall in league play d. Coin toss by ISAC Chair or Football Commissioner 12. If matches end in a tie after regulation time during the ISAC Tournament: a. Prior to the Championship Final, the match will go directly to Penalty Kicks. b. In the Championship Final, teams will play 2 x 7½ minute extra-periods employing the Silver Goal Rule. If the extra-periods do not determine a winner, Penalty Kicks shall be taken according to FIFA regulations. 13. League and/or Tournament tie-break rules: a. Result head to head between tied teams b. Goal differential head to head between tied teams i. Does NOT revert back to “a.” if a three-way tie results in three different goal differentials. ii. When two of three teams remain tied the head to head between the two teams would solve the tie c. Most goals scored head to head between tied teams d. Goal differential during round robin play e. Most goals scored during round robin play f. Coin Toss by Tournament Director or ISAC Chair (3/15) SECTION 27 – U19 FOOTBALL RULES (7-ASIDE) FIFA rules (http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/federation/laws_of_the_game_0708_10565.pdf ) and ISAC U19 11-aside rules (Section 25) will be applied, except for the following amendments: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Matches shall be 2 x 30 minute halves with a 10 minute stoppage for halftime. Maximum roster size during seasonal/league play and the ISAC Tournament is 14. (4/12) The Offside rule will NOT be applied. Field size is reduced to approximately ½ of the regulation size. If possible, the following changes should be made to the field markings: a. The goal area and penalty area are combined into one area b. The size of this combined goal/penalty area is somewhere between the size of the proper goal area and the size of the proper penalty area. All rules which normally pertain to these areas are still in affect. c. Penalty Spot – shall be 9 meters from the goal line. 6. Goal size is reduced to approximately ⅔ of the regulation size. 7. If matches end in a tie after regulation time during the ISAC Tournament: a. Prior to the Championship Final, the match will go directly to Penalty Kicks, with three players per team taking kicks. b. In the Championship Final, teams will play 2 x 7½ minute extra-periods employing the Silver Goal Rule. If the extra-periods do not determine a winner, Penalty Kicks shall be taken according to FIFA regulations.
