Lilydale Netball Club is one of the founding clubs of the Lillydale and
Yarra Netball Association and was established over 30 years ago. Our
club is large but personal. We field 17 teams on a Saturday ranging
from Under 9's to Open age.
We train on Friday afternoons at the McDermott Avenue Netball
Courts in Mooroolbark from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, with matches played
on Saturdays at the McDermott Avenue Netball Courts between 9am
and 3.30pm depending on the age group.
New players are always welcome. If you turn 8 before December 31st,
you're eligible to play. We try to field several teams in each age group
to allow all of our players to be placed in teams suitable to their ability
and experience.

We are looking at entering teams in a club tournament. The
tournament will be run as a ‘round robin’ style competition with
shortened games played throughout the day, teams finishing well
would play off in finals.
We have entered teams in the past and the girls have had loved it.

TEAM PHOTO’S
The club has booked ‘Sports in Focus’ to come and take team
photos on Saturday 28th April (Game Day).
We will let coaches know but at this stage we need teams there
½ an hour early so they can assemble, have their team photo
taken, then each child will have an individual photo and off to
the court for a game. Please make sure you turn up on time so
everything flows!
Our club is not the only club being photographed on the day but
let them remember us because we are the most well behaved
(and best looking)!
If you haven’t paid the canteen levy
you will be getting a phone call
about Canteen Duty. Please put this
date into your diaries and help out
if you can.
