Description
This course is tailored to provide strong foundation of the four major skills such as listening, speaking,
reading and writing in Indonesian at the elementary level. Students are exposed to both formal and
informal varieties of Indonesian in many different topics from their real-life surroundings.

Business Introduction is the first business course being delivered with the assumption that students will
derive underlying ideas from Christian value, Business Math Logic and Micro Economics theory. The course
is divided into three major parts, the philosophy in doing business, the complex and dynamic business
environment and the discussion on various business functions.

Description
This course is tailored to train the students to develop their Indonesian language skills at the preintermediate level to cope with their immediate needs their everyday life and academic circles. Students are
assisted to comprehend a large variety of authentic Indonesian reading texts to enhance their skills in
speaking, listening and writing.
Introduction to Macro Economics discusses the interaction between major economic sectors such as the
household sector, the business sector, and the government sector. It also discusses the basic concepts of
economy especially macro-economics. This subject includes the mechanisms of problem solving, concepts
of variable measurements, various instruments in the target policies of macro economics. This subject also
discusses the role of fiscal and monetary policies, international trade and global economics.
This course offers an understanding on the practices of popular culture in everyday life. The topics cover
arts, sports, media, music, foods, clothing, etc., in an Indonesian context
This subject focuses on the relationship between Culture and Communication. This course is expected to
provide an intellectual framework that allows description and understanding of communication between
different cultures and how those principals are applied to business relations.
This course offers an insight on the major tourist attractions in Indonesia. Class discussion includes
Indonesian archipelago geography, assets of Indonesian tourism, in terms of culture, natural attraction,
history and local community activities.
This course offers basic theories on planning multi-day tours, budgeting and guiding techniques. This
course also provides an opportunity for students to put those theories into practice and develop creativity
and skills to arrange, set price, manage, sell and conduct an interesting multi-day package tour.
