Annunciation Catholic School Summer Reading 2017 Dear New Second Graders, I hope you have a wonderful summer before you join me in 2nd grade on August 29th! Summer is about having fun, but it is important for you to keep working on all the skills you learned in first grade. You should buy a book called “​Summer Bridge Activities®, Grades 1 - 2”, and use it to keep your skills fresh. I would like you to read an interesting book called Apples by Gail Gibbons. Please fill out the book report form attached. We will be using this book in class to talk about the life cycle of apples, and we will visit an apple orchard later in the quarter!
