Open Electives and Broadening Electives

Broadening elective courses are those which are outside their
primary discipline area of study and can be searched using the
Course Planner.

Students must esure they are correctly enrolled in accordance
with the Academic Program Rules
A total of 72 is required to complete the Bachelor of
Economics.
1Student should complete the MyUni test to determine which
Maths course to enrol. Students may complete both the Basic
and Advanced courses, the Advanced course counting as an
elective when completed after the Basic.

Students must ensure they check prerequisites and course
restrictions before enrolling in a course via the Course Planner
two of the Elective III are Economics courses, the remaining
electives can be level II.
To satisfy the requirements for Broadening Electives, students must
complete courses to the value of 9 units. Students in the B.
Economics must choose courses outside of the following subject
areas: ACCTING, CORPFIN, ECON, STATS.
