Collaboration with a University from the
point of view of a former KTP associate

22
The company had a problem…
A product based on a complex resin
formulation
The knowledge had been allowed to leave the
business
No idea where the start to recover the
situation –the future of the company at stake

Reformulated the product for the first time in
10 years
Launched 3 new product variants

Laboratory established
Project plan and KTP format crucial to the
success of the project
25
Why was the KTP format so
important?
Forced to prepare a detailed project plan
Forced to document a business plan
A good team –better than consultant route
An entire University at the disposal of the
project –if you are good at blagging!
Support throughout (KTP Office, Momenta)
The right Associate and right team is essential
for success
