Description:
6th Grade Common Core Math standards, covered at a faster pace with enhanced
performance tasks and problem solving
Accelerated (6-8 classes)= faster pace
Honors (high school math classes)= additional standards to go more in depth with the
content; indicated as enhanced (+) standards in the CA Mathematics Framework
Criteria Includes:

Band
Students will be introduced to various styles of music and
instruments throughout history.
Students will have an opportunity to try different instruments to see
what they like best.
Students will begin their journey into music performance and
appreciation through Beginning Band.

6th graders will be assigned an odd or even PE day.
All 6th grade students will dress out and will have a PE locker, a lock will be
provided for them.
Uniforms can be purchased online and at the front office- Price TBA.
Sweat shirts and pants will be available as well.

One evening, the week before school starts, the campus will be
open for students to tour.
