Heather Musante
If Tracey Energy had a fan club, its
president would be Heather Musante.
A customer for nearly 20 years, the Cheshire
resident relies on Tracey Energy for oil
deliveries and furnace and air conditioning
service. She’s been so happy with the
service, she’s referred friends and family to
Tracey Energy over the years. In addition,
Heather has helped Tracey Energy out at
various community fundraising events,
such as the toy drives and Christmas tree
sales benefiting the Toy Closet at Yale-New
Haven Children’s Hospital, and the American

Oilheat Means
Personal Service
In our winter issue of Tracey Energy
Connection, we wrote about how the
gas utilities make it seem so cheap and
easy to convert, but don’t mention all the costs involved. The article
concluded with this advice: you’ll save more money by upgrading
your Oilheat equipment than by switching to natural gas.
In this issue, we want to talk about personal service – one of
the biggest benefits of being an Oilheat consumer – and a Tracey
Energy customer. Personal service is NOT, however, something
you’ll get from the gas utility.
EMERGENCY SERVICE
Gas utilities do not provide 24-hour emergency service in the event
of a heat outage. Tracey Energy provides emergency repair service to
our customers around the clock.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Many gas utilities do not provide routine service and
maintenance on home heating equipment. If you need your gas
boiler serviced, you need to call an independent contractor. Tracey
Energy, on the other hand, provides full service. In our case, that
includes not only installations and repairs, but value-added “extras”
like our 11-month Easy Pay plan and lower electric rates through
